Advent 2024 - Day 6

That said, we didn't celebrate today at all. Unless the big cleaning frenzy and the crazed battle at Lidl disguised as food shopping counts. I'm really tired now, but I'm glad I did the shopping when I did because shortly after I got home it started snowing! Fortunately, there was no wind involved, so the balcony could withstand the snow, but who knows how long and what's to come yet. This also makes me very happy that I took my wares to the school on Tuesday. At least they're safe, warm and dry in the assistant director's office. *g*
After all this, nothing else was really done. I brought those extra yummy croissants from our corner café (since Mum can't go out in this weather), and we had them with cocoa for lunch. In the afternoon, I had a short nap and three phone chats: with H., with my friend Evie and with Ilonka, another former colleague. So, that's social life for me - certainly more than I usually get.
And clearly, I was a good girl this year because the Krampus didn't come to get me. *g*
