A little crafty, a little baker-y

wiseheart... and altogether quite busy, but in a good way. *g*
For starters, cookie picspam as promised. Five of the seven different biscuits made so far can be viewed here. The other two are not Pinterest-worthy, but I can take some photos if somebody is interested in the rather unspectacular-looking (albeit delicious) Kokosmakronen and ginger meringues.
Of course, I've realized too late that I'd need whipping cream for the toffee sauce and for the Brazil nut cream filling, which we don't keep in the house. So I had to go to Lidl, first thing in the morning, although I had not planned to leave a house today. My fault for not reading the recipe more focused. But it's all done now, and they turned out pretty, and I couldn't be happier with them.
The ones decorated yesterday got boxed in the morning; the last two are cooling on the balcony. Things are gaining speed over here!
I also did some minor crafting today: I've decorated another emptied hand creme pot to turn it into a gift box for small gifts and made a mini pencil holder. This one isn't very spectacular, but it's decorated with some lace my Grandma made back in the early 1970s, so it has historic value. *g*
Sooo, I'm accordingly drained now, even though I have taken a nap in the early afternoon. I'll try transcribing some of my already written stuff to the computer, then some telly and then sleep!

I've been baking too, bread yesterday and some quick lemon cookies today since mom was craving a snack in the evenings
