Originally I wanted to embed the Cassata cake again but Pinterest still refuses to let me, so I hope this virtual mango cake will do the trick. :)

Nothing exciting over here. I've finished the big cleaning, and while I'm fairly dead on my feet, at least this means I won't have to do it again for the next two weeks. *is relieved* Not much me-time was left, naturally, but I did a good bit of writing and decorated three more little gift boxes, so I'm well content. Resting is overrated when creative efforts need to be made!

Tomorrow I'll be a tad lazy, though. Just a bit of cooking, and the rest of the day is (hopefully) mine. Unless Mum gets creative about things that need to be done in the house...

That sounds like a very productive day. Thanks for the cake. I treated myself to a piece of strawberry cheesecake from the local supermarket too. At least your cake was guilt free.

My cake is always guilt free... on the basis that since I had to give up practically all activities outside the house, I need something to live for.

From my experience skipping the daily rest will render me more spirited for extra ´work´ like crafting or writing.

That is useful. I'm more or less okay the day after, but in the evening I crash rather hard.
