Firstly, the recently finished Christmas card #33:



I'm really happy with this one. I did make small mistakes but they are barely visible, so I consider this a job well done.

And then there is the infamous Cassata Siciliana cake:



Again, it belongs to the "tastes better than it looks" category, but for a first attempt it isn't bad. elwenlj, feel free to cut as big a virtual slice as you'd like. Virtual slice, virtual calories - your weight is safe!

Furthermore I've made good progress with writing and had a long, nice phone chat with a friend and (ex-)colleague I couldn't reach yesterday, so yeah, it was all around a good day.

Yes, that was me! Once I read that you have an account at DW I went over there to add you to my circle. You never know with LJ as to when and if it will become no longer tolerable.

True. I hope it will last, though. I've been here for over 20 years and would hate to go elsewhere. I'm used to the features that makes LJ easier to handle, at least for a techno-wheenie like me.

I'll provide your access, then. But be warned: I only import my LJ to DW, don't post there separately. People tell me that imported entries don't show up on their Friends page (or whatever it's called on DW). As long as LJ behaves, it will be easier to stay here, IMO.
