Not my best pieces

wiseheart... so they'll go for a reduced price: Christmas cards #31 and 32:
The somewhat blurred picture doesn't help, of course; I must have moved my oh-so-smart phone just a bit. Unfortunately, it isn't smart enough to ignore such mistakes. Ah, well. Also, the one on the right was made with light blue, pale pink and white threads, which probably wasn't the best idea, but I needed something to contrast the bright orange background, so... I can't wait to run out of this old paper. I'll only ever buy beige for paper embroidery in the future!
Other than that I've rewritten most of the two pages I wrote yesterday; I think (I hope) the text flows better this way. I also wrote an additional page or so, which isn't bad for one day.
Mum volunteered to cook potato paprikas, for which I peeled the potatoes, so that she didn't have to spend hours in the kitchen (her speed isn't what it once used to be), and I talked to my friend Evie on the phone. And that was basically it.
