Quiet birthday

It was really peaceful. I got a few phone calls from friends and family, did some writing and prepared five more cards for the stitching. Made Topfenknödel for lunch and generally lazed around a bit. It felt great. *g*

We had to postpone the visit to the café because it had rained during the night and there were puddles everywhere of the size of Lake Balaton. It would have been very difficult to navigate Mum around them. We'll try tomorrow.
