The Gnome Squad
Sep. 16th, 2024 08:51 pm... is now finished. Here are all eight of them:

Admittedly, they are a bit lopsided, some of them cross-eyed, others have a saggy hat or crooked limbs, but I love them nonetheless. *g*
In other crafty news, I've cut out the bases for 6 more lavender sacks, since I still have the textile parts and the dried lavender flowers, so I can make one or two in-between. I'm trying to use up my craft supplies faster than I'm buying new ones, but it's a hopeless, uphill struggle. *g*
I also wrote a good chunk for the last chapter and have almost figured out how to end the whole thing. Actually, I've got two slightly different ideas and have to choose one. As the Germans say: Wer die Wahl hat, hat die Qual - sorry, I don't know the English equivalent.
No cooking as we had the food from yesterday we hadn't eaten. No pilgrimage to Teh Office, either, as it was raining like whoa in the morning and I don't have a boat. Tomorrow will be busy in the afternoon, so Wednesday is the tentative goal. Honestly, that little money isn't really worth the hassle, I spend more on food in a week, but Mum wants it so badly, so I'll give it a try. *sigh*

Date: 2024-09-17 06:35 pm (UTC)A good saying, isn't it? That's what I absolutely love about the German language — they have such colourful expressions that can't be really well translated into other languages; certainly not so that they would rhyme, too. *g*
