Thread choices matter!

Do you notice how much better the older one is, just because I used thin thread for all the parts? That has taught me not to experiment with thick thread in paper embroidery, just because I believe the pattern would be more visible. *grrrr!*
Anyway, otherwise it was a fairly quiet day, just the kind I like. I made another tree gnome, prepared the next embroidered card (a fairly simple snowman), cooked lunch and wrote an acceptable chunk. If I can keep up this speed, the story will be finished before the next
picowrimo session starts. *fingers crossed*
