Clearly, I'm too old for this insane weather: 15 degrees during night, 32 degrees during day. Add the chronic lack of sleep (I was up till 1.20 last night again) and you see why I'm a complete wreck.

Today was relatively slow, thank God. We watched the Olympics (yay for athletics!), I cooked a simple lunch, finished another embroidered card, even squeezed in a tiny bit of writing - and slept an hour and a half in the afternoon. Then we watched the Olympics some more and now we are both dead on our feet. At least Mum has the justified excuse of the physiotherapist lady wearing her out. I'm simply floored. *sigh*

I'm glad you were at least able to have a slow day and enjoy Olympics, that sounds utterly miserable

I wish I could send you some of our cooler weather. After a sunny start this morning the clouds are now rolling in and it's due to rain for the entirety of the rest of the day. (Although I suspect your balcony would not want the rain part.)

No, it certainly wouldn't.

15 degrees during night sounds promising! Are you able to cool down the flat then?

It is bearable in the morning, although around 9am it was 24 degrees already. The suffering starts after noon when we start getting direct sunlight.
