Today we got up at stupid o'clock to start packing for Wednesday. Between 6am and 8am we made a great deal of progress; then we stopped because it was getting too hot. Tomorrow morning: the same programme. Oh, joy!

We had 30°C in the living room today and 36°C outside; unfortunately, the nights aren't cool enough any longer to make at least nighttime bearable. So we did no cooking at all; had coffee and some biscuits for lunch and sandwiches and an alcohol free Radler for dinner. Tomorrow, though, I will cook for two days: squash marrow with Rösti, to which I've already boiled the potatoes. They need to be grated for the Rösti mix.

We have rested a lot in-between our preparations. I've even managed to write a tiny bit and finished pot-holder #6. So I'm not complaining (much).

Definitely too warm for jobs like that.

Temps are supposed to go up to 34° here as well now ...

Too warm to be anywhere but in water up to the ears. Unfortunately, that is not an option for us.

A whole week of chaos. Oh joy.

Yeah, not really. But necessary.

My goodness, with 30 degrees inside the flat I´d lie down and try to die!

There were moments when we seriously considered that option, too.
