Another day off

wiseheartOriginally, I've planned several things for today. But when I got up at 5am for a tour de loo, it was 23°C already and I promptly decided that wandering around in the asphalt jungle all morning wasn't really an option. So, food run got postponed for tomorrow (I simply have to go, as we're running out of basic foodstuffs like milk, yogurt and cold cuts), and we had another relaxed day.
Still had leftover pasta Milanese from the day before tomorrow, so no cooking was necessary. Instead, I've written more than a full page and nearly finished pot-holder #5. Only a bit of seaming (blanket stitch, nice and easy) and the hanging is left, yay!
Not much of a nap today, barely 20 minutes, as we've been vegetating in front of the telly most of the time. It was 34°C in the early afternoon, so we had all doors and windows firmly shut and the Venetian blinds lowered as far as they go to keep the nice and "cool" 27°C in the flat. Weather forecast promises even more heat for the rest of the week, as high as 37°C on two days - I definitely have to go to the supermarkets right when they open, at 6.30 and 7am, respectively. I can always fall in a coma in the afternoon when the walls are glowing.
