Yum!

For the first time since February, Lidl is selling ready-made, American-style pulled pork. All one has to do is to put it into the pre-heated oven and cook it for 25 minutes. I bought 3 packages today; they weren't exactly cheap, but it means 6 to 8 meals for us, somewhen in the next 4 months or so. I've discovered this thing in February and was looking for it ever since. Yum!

Other than that, it was a quiet day. I made another lavender sachet - will take a picture when some more are done, as they look fairly similar. Mum has been watching football (soccer for the Americans among us) ever since the Euro 2024 started. I take a quick look from time to time, but I really don't have the patience (and the time to waste) for watching 22 (supposedly) grown men running around like headless chicken and behaving like prima donnas. I guess it's a matter of taste - Mum can't get enough of the thing. For me, it's athletics.

It was too hot already when I got home from the shopping to go out with Mum again. We'll try tomorrow, first thing in the morning. *fingers crossed*

We love the Aldi Pulled Pork, it's so yummy.

I never saw it at Aldi over here. But the Lidl one — well, actually the brand is called Mcenedy — is really delicious.

Yep. All in the same sealed plastic bag. Very practical — and ideal for Mum because the meat is so tender.

I love the ready-made pulled pork, too. We can get it in a couple of local supermarkets — and a similar Lebanese chicken dish, too.

I haven't watched any of the football so far, although I will probably eventually watch the odd game.
