I made pizza today, for the simple reason that there were several leftovers that needed to be used up. Namely:
- an opened half-package of fresh yeast,
- an opened half-package of grated Gouda cheese,
- a tube of tomato paste,
- several tins of canned tuna and
- some canned sweet corn.

I added lemon juice, some leftover capers and dried garlic powder to the tuna, some oregano to the tomato paste, and the result was absolutely delicious.

The rest of the morning was spent processing the bouquet of lavender flowers I was given at school yesterday. It was long and fiddly, but now I have some necessary ingredients to the little lavender bags I intend to make for the Christmas fair, using a linen tunic I never really wore because of its unflattering cut.

In the afternoon we went for a walk with Mum and started packing for tomorrow, when the new cleaning lady will have her premiere. I just hope we'll get on well.
