I started the day with hopping over to Lidl because raspberries were in offer. They are a sneaky bunch: if you buy two packages, you get the second package for half-price, so if you want your raspberries for a marginally lower price, you have to buy two packages. Which I did, especially as Lidl sells the raspberries, even at full price, cheaper than any other supermarket, even Aldi. No idea why.

I also bought a 500 gram package of frozen raspberries, which cost me less than the 250 gram fresh ones, even on offer. Ridiculous. But I've got another such package in the freezer, so the way is free for jam-making... at a later time. We'll enjoy the fresh ones as dessert.

We had laundry day, this being a Saturday, but I didn't have to cook, as we still had some leftovers that lasted longer than expected. Instead, I used the time to do some crafting.

I've seamed the spine/outer binding of the felt songbook with blanket stitch while watching TV. That was quick and easy work, but I decided to give my fingers a break before starting on the actual book-binding, which is a painful thing to do. Instead, I've made another page for the (paper) baby book; this time just improvised, without any template, but I think it turned out rather pretty.

After lunch I solved half a dozen crossword puzzles in German (oh, the joy of having them again!), took a short nap and am now in the process of typing up some fanfic I wrote a couple of months ago for "Kindred: the Embraced". Well, the disjointed parts that are already written, that is. *g*
