I've mostly done prep work today: cut out a dozen or so little bear bases (the ones that will serve as key rings and be offered in medium-sized matchboxes that will get prettied up) for the next Christmas fair. Then I pinned together the second pot holder. And I actually got some quality writing done - all in order to avoid working on the baby book. *g*

Still, I am very happy about the writing part: I've actually finished Chapter 17 of "Mazarbul! Go me! Now to type up the last two and a half pages and post the whole thing first to [livejournal.com profile] edhellondawards and then to SoA and AO3, respectively.

The asparagus quiche is still only half-way gone, which means no cooking for another two days. Yay!

On the social side, I've talked to my friend Evie on the phone, which is always nice, and Mum and I used the still nice weather to go out for a short walk. Who knows how long we'll be able to do so; it's already starting to get really windy, and her eyes can't bear that too well.

That asparagus quiche sounds good! I really ought to buy some frozen pastry and make a quiche!!! I’ll buy some next time I order shopping . There’s so many veggies I can eat that are nice in quiche: spinach, leeks, tomatoes etc. Great work on the writing!

It's cold, wet and blustery here. British springtime is most politely described as 'changeable'. Two days ago it was 17c and we were all dusting off our summer clothes.
