I've finished the inside of the front cover for the new baby book.

It is basically a 3-piece card that turned out well enough. Save for the little rectangular box that isn't rectangular at all, but I decided to keep it anyway, for the sake of the pretty paper. I hope the recipients won't mind.

Then I cooked for two days in advance - I had some grated zucchini and some chicken breast in the freezer, so I made a drastically simplified version of Mary Berry's Panang fried chicken... without celery or tomatoes, but Mum liked it nonetheless.

After that, we packed for tomorrow's cleaning frenzy, and I took down my Easter wall decoration. I originally planned to keep it up until the regularly scheduled cleaning, but my festive feelings have gone out of the window when I learned that the slave labour will have to take place a week earlier.

I also realized that I never actually posted Chapters 15 and 16 of "The Book of Mazarbul" to SoA (although I did post them to AO3 and FF.Net), so I rectified the oversight by putting up Chapter 15. I'll add Chapter 16 later, in the hope that there are people who still remember that story. *rueful grin*

The card looks so pretty. I'm sure the recipient will love filling it in and keeping it.

Let's hope so. Actually, it looks somewhat better in life, but still lopsided.

Oh, you are most welcome! I hope the outrageous grammar and the sometimes purple prose won't offend you. ;))

The "little bundle of joy" one is so lopsided my eyes bleed when I look at it. :(

I hurried to look on A03 to see if I had read those or not, but I've read through chapter 19. I do love that story, but am willing to be patient ;0) Love the baby book card!

The sad truth is, I've had Chapter 20 half-written (9 entire pages!) for years... I just couldn't move on with it.

Oh, I am confused. I looked on A03 at "The Book of Mazarbul" and it shows 19 chapters posted, although the last (A03 chapter 19) is Titled Chapter 15 - The Wanderers. Does that mean you have NOT posted chapter 16 to both SoA and A03? I mean, is there a chapter I've yet to read? Hope so, lol.

No, "The Wanderers" is actually the last finished chapter. The numbers are different because I've posted Chapter 3 — The Road Goes Ever On in 3 parts, as it got so very long. AO3 doesn't do chapters 3a, 3b and so on... and I've forgotten that the numbers won't match. So, correction:Chapter 17 will be coming on... eventually.
