Days getting shorter

I spent my morning at the Savoy shopping centre, visiting the pharmacy, the Auchan supermarket and the Tedi shop, respectively. Which means that the hours in which I still am alive enough to do my crafting or writing were lost. Consequently, I didn't do either of those today. But at least I found some beautiful lace border - butterflies with tiny rosebuds in pale pink and white - and Bastelstreusel - little princess crowns in pale pink, hot pink and gold - that will fit the new baby book wonderfully, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Mum and I shared kitchen duty today: I peeled and chopped the potatoes and she did the actual cooking, then watched some telly, talked to our respective friends on the phone and took a nap. And with that, the day was basically over... an unpleasant side effect of getting old.
