Same old, same old...

Or, as German speakers would put it, Alltagstrott. Otherwise known as one of those days when washing my hair counts as an event.

Mum felt a bit under the weather today, mostly because she's still weak and fears if she'll ever regain her strength. Fortunately, we had a visit from the physiotherapist, and when she left, Mum was a great deal better mentally. God bless that woman, she always manages to build Mum up.

I cooked a bit; improvised a soup based on what I found in the fridge. It ended up as a rather random veggie soup, but Mum liked it. We had leftovers for the second course and were content with it.

I managed to squeeze in a bit of crafting: made the base for Pages 2 of both baby books. All I have to add are the double cards that come into the side pockets. That's six pages done, eight more to go. I seriously doubt they'll be finished in time, but I can't help it.

Pinterest still refuses to recognize .jpg-format pictures and wouldn't let me upload anything. Drat, and it actually worked two or so days ago!

What else? We both rested a bit in the afternoon, then watched some telly, and now the day is over.

I think you and I must share part of our brain, because I washed hair yesterday too. And, yes, I count that as an event. I also stripped a couple of yards of wallpaper, which was definitely an event.

I really hope she will get stronger soon. I have seen enough people younger than your mum give up after such an accident!

Mum is a fighter. I'm sure she'll struggle back to her feet eventually. *fingers crossed*
