Songbooks, aka the Great Picspam Post

All right, my lovelies, I've taken the new pics and uploaded them to Pinterest, so here comes the promised picspam post. I'm going to post 3 versions of each page, starting with the original that I took as template, then my first version, and finally my second version. You can decide which one you like best. :)

As you can see, the fox is missing from the original - not my fault!

Frankly, I find my first version of the mill better because of the colours.

To be continued tomorrow because this takes forever and I'm lazy.

Other than that, I cooked lunch and took down the Christmas tree (it's done on Candlemas in our house). So it was a busy day.

Yours look so much better! Your animals have more personality, are more sympathisch around the edges. :) The proportions on your pages are more snug.

True. I found that the animals in the model lacked personality. Plus, unlike in my version, not all of the crows or cats were finger puppets, some were just sewn on.

I never got to see the original fox, but I'm fairly content with mine indeed. :)
Tomorrow comes the rest — you'll laugh yourself silly over the original cow. It looks like a pig with a bow on its head.

Thank you. :) My main goal was to make as many animals into finger puppets as possible. That gives the basic shape to begin with, so the cats had to be different. And the crows.
