Some me-time at last!

Miracles do happen. Not very frequently, but they do. We had leftovers to eat, no other housework was scheduled, no unexpected things happened, so I actually had a good part of the day for my own purposes.

Therefore I attacked the songbook again, since my fingertips have recovered from the last bout of heavy sewing. Almost finished another page and added small embellishments to the last one. Yay!

I also watched lots of crap telly, solved some crossword puzzles, transcribed another page of the vampire crossover chapter and had a nice, long nap in the afternoon. My friend Evie has just called, so there was some social life as well. If only all Sundays would be like this one!

You write vampire fic? For some reason, which I now realise is strange, I had not imagined you writing vampires. And Yay! for a quiet day.

I started my so-called career as fanfic writer with vampire fic, waaay back in the 20th century. *g*
In fact, AU Buffy fic was the very first thing I ever wrote in English, long before I'd have dared to touch Tolkien's world.

So glad you got some “me time”. It’s essential for mental health I believe. I have lots of “me time” because I have few responsibilities now, but there have been times when I felt I could not take a breath.
