... and will do so for several more days, I reckon. This chapter is roughly 12 pages long, and I do have the custom to write small, in order to save paper, so it's sometimes a pain. But at least I have the illusion of writing, so it's good.

This morning was spent at the supermarkets - I bought stuff for a week or so, plus things I still needed for Mum's birthday cake. The recipe says one should bake the cake itself two or three days earlier, so that it can unfold its full aroma; that would be Monday then. Tomorrow I'll have kitchen duty anyway. Planned are veggie burgers, made of grated zucchini, carrots and potatoes. Unfortunately, a rather time-consuming dish, with all that grating; and I'll have to make apple compote, too, for we have a few very hard, tasteless apples that need to be turned into something enjoyable - that's where cinnamon, sweetener and lemon juice come into the play. As we'll also have laundry day, me-time will be practically nonexistent. But Saturdays are often like that.

So, no crafting done today. I was dead in my feet and took a nap in the afternoon instead. Which was nice, but didn't bring me closer to my crafty goals. *sigh* There is so much (crafting) to do, and so little time to do it.

Can you at least still read what you've written? Sometimes I can't decipher my own handwriting ...

When I do creative writing, I write slowly, and my handwriting is much better than when I'm just taking notes, thank God!

transcribing your handwriting is an important part of the process, so it definitely counts as writing

Good luck with the cake!

My writing is both huge and illegible. It gets worse as my tremors increase, it’s all loops and indecipherable squirls. And my mother’s writing has not altered since I was a child!!! Both elegant and scratchy, it’s perfectly legible, small but clearly read! How??? I’m kinda proud of her perfect writing. But, how? It”s a mystery!
Is your writing easy to read?

It depends. When I do creative writing, like for my craft projects and writing down my stories, it is both pretty and easy to read, but then I take my time. When taking notes, it still looks good enough but a lot harder to read.

It also depends on what I am writing with. Needle-tipped felt pens are the best for pretty writing, bullet pens are the worse.

The veggie burgers sound delicious, the apple compote too.
