... for my poor, abused fingers anyway. *g*

I set aside the felt songbook for a couple of days and started working on the two baby books that are due somewhen middle or late Spring. I've done the basic covers today, which reminded me why working with double-sided tape is such a nightmare. Fellow paper crafters would agree, I think.

In the morning I also went to the supermarkets and bought stuff for at least half a week. I won't have much time in the next two days: extra choir practice, concert, rearranging the flat for the cleaning frenzy come on Monday, the cleaning frenzy itself... better getting things in advance. I only left the bread for tomorrow, so that we'd have it fresh a bit longer.

Other than that, not much else happened. We ate leftovers, and I took a really long, nice nap in the afternoon. It was heavenly. I should do it more often... if I hadn't other things to do in the afternoons. Like reading and Solitaire. *g*

We still have cloudy weather, but it hasn't rained much during the day. Seeing on telly what it looks like in Germany, for example, makes me wonder if we are living on a different planet.

We usually don't get much snow, but we got about 10 cm today ... so ... yay, winter has arrived.
If you were referring to that ...
And yes, we had the ice rain yesterday.

Punkt 12 on RTL showed dramatic pictures of snowed in places and Glatteis.

Yes, there were quite a few accidents and injured people here as well, even if we didn't get that much snow. But enough to be a nuisance!

I still wonder about the ice rain in Germany. We had very cold weather for a week, then boom, eight degrees, and no ice at all!

I assume the no ice part is good, right?

Winter weather can be annoying but, like you, some days I look at other places and count my blessings.

Puts things into perspective, doesn't it?

I find I am napping more and more in the afternoon. Maybe it's the cold weather, but it feels so nice and warm and comfy under the covers. Glad you had a nice peaceful afternoon.
