... and packing, before and after the cleaning, and that ate the whole morning. When we were done, I was done in, too, and spent the afternoon dozing in front of the telly, falling asleep over my crossword puzzle and falling asleep over Methuselah the laptop, where I was supposedly reading fanfic and playing solitaire, respectively. Thank God for the fact that we had leftovers for lunch!

This would be the place where I declared how much I hate housework, but you already know it, so why bother, right?

I chatted a bit with my friend Evie on the phone, but couldn't even focus on that properly. So, more crap telly in the evening, and then falling into bed, I think.

Ah, it's falling-asleep time here, too! Did so before lunch, after cleaning, did so after lunch- it's so very stressing to do noodles with salmon :) And falling asleep in front of TV is what I am an expert in. I do so each and every evening!

While I still had any programmes on the small TV in my bedroom, I did that each evening, too. But DVDs are not good for that.

That was a very sleepy day, but with all that furniture removing etc. I can understand why.

The main problem is that the dratted flat is so damn crowded: small rooms, relatively large furniture left over from earlier times, lots of knick-knacks (Mum), heaps of craft supplies (me) and generally too little room to move around.

I think you can complain about housework as much as you want.

I don't envy you the cleaning, especially having to take stuff down and put it back up. Good to have it over even though it comes back up a week later, sigh.
