How is half the month over again? *shakes head in amazement*

Anyway, I did a big shopping tour today to fill up the mostly empty fridge. Food prices have become somewhat shocking, but at least I won't have to go out again until Tuesday; Wednesday, if we make our rations cleverly.

By the way, I also posted the last two Christmas cards, so [livejournal.com profile] aeris444 and [livejournal.com profile] chocolate_frapp can start watching their post boxes, too. I'm sorry, gals, I don't think they'll reach you in time, but I was so busy with the Christmas baking and the fair preparations that I didn't come around to write them. Do forgive me. *insert puppy dog eyes*

Speaking of the fair, there aren't any photos yet, but I'll post them as soon as I can, promise!

Other than the big shopping tour, I didn't do much today. Mum decided to wash all the ceramic jars containing spices and the likes, but I was tired and took a nap in the afternoon. I'll put them back to their places tomorrow.

Just to have at least some pictures in this post, we are talking about these lovely oldies (nearly 200 years old - well, except the things from Harrods, that is):

As a rule, there are narrow embroidered drapes edging the shelves and some red ceramics on the upper shelf, but this photo was taken for the old jars and containers, exclusively.
