... also known as St. Lucia's Day. On which I finally went to the hairdresser and achieved a halfways civilized look: very important, so that I won't scare away potential customers on the fair tomorrow.

Other than that, I'm getting seriously organized. Six boxes of Christmas cookies have already gone off to their recipients, two more are waiting to get picked up, and I expect another two empty boxes to come my way tomorrow, so that they can be filled. Add the plates I'll gift upon our neighbours, and soon the balcony will be a lot emptier.

Mum helped me to count and list the change I'm gonna take with me to the fair tomorrow. I need a lot of coin and small sheets (is paper money called sheets in English???) because kids have the tendency to buy something for fifty bucks or so and want to pay with a thousander... if I'm lucky. I had some last year who had a ten thousander with them; okay, those were the parents, but I still had to scratch together the change I had to give them back. *sigh*

In the last moment I decided to take the finger puppet Wichtel with me to the fair as well. I had no time to make the Wichteltür and the tiny post boxes for them, the whole set of which I intended to give friends and family with small children as a gift, so I'll do it next year and sew new gnomes.

TBH, I'm very excited about the fair tomorrow and hope that all will go smoothly. This is the event in my life each year, and since the concert won't be held on Saturday, the most Christmassy thing I'll get, so I hope by God that nothing happens to hinder me. *fingers crossed*

I don't dare to take the iPad mini out of the house because I fear it won't be willing to reconnect to the Internet when I get home. But one of the colleagues will do the official photographing and promised me to take a few good pictures, so I can show Mum what my stall looked like. I'll then post the pics to Pinterest, as always, and link it here.

You can view a great deal of photos from previous fairs here (https://hu.pinterest.com/ekunster/charity-fairs-christmas-2015-2022/).
