Lots of them already. But Christmas will come sooner than we think, and I still have a lot on my to-do list.

Today, after having taken Mum out for a walk and done the grocery shopping (while Mum was sitting on a bench on the toddler playground, admiring the little ones), there were serious crafty times. Sometimes you just have to clench your teeth and get through the preparation before you can get to the actual fun parts.

In this spirit, I've cut out all the necessary parts for six doughnut keyrings. There were small pieces of felt falling off, out of which I quickly stitched together tiny six-pointed stars. I'll add sequins or small buttons or pearls as central elements later. Also, the leftover felt might serve as the lining of three more mini sewing kits.

So, the current count is:
7 mini purses (might have to make another one to have pairs);
12 mini sewing kits (still in pieces);
6 doughnut keyrings (still in pieces);
2 keyrings with mini lavender pillows;
10 Nisse(r);
4 cherry pit pillows;
1 somewhat larger lavender pillow;
1 Christmas ornament (the 6-pointed-star-turned-into-an-angel one);
6 mini six-pointed stars;
2 small eight-pointed stars (still in pieces).

Further in planning are the doors for the Nisse(r), to be made of popsickles, and Christmas garlands made of tinfoil that I have collected from chocolates. Oh, and the cat-in-a-sack thingies, for which I'll have to turn toilet rolls into small boxes, with the help of Christmas paper. So yeah, I'm looking forward to eventful times.

I usually do — when the deadlines aren't too close. :)

Thank you. I hope I can space myself so that I can work without any undue pressure.

That sounds do-able in the timeframe. That said, life so often gets in the way of even the best laid plans. Good luck!

Thanks. I'm trying to go one piece a time, so that I can actually enjoy what I'm doing.

I think I´d have a burnout come December! But those sewing kits are adorable!

Actually, these projects are relaxing, compared with the songbook and the birthday albums I had to deliver by early September. *g*

I think for me the first big storm of the winter has sent me into Christmas prep mode — I was making some experimental Christmas cards this morning, and considering Christmas knitting.

You can never start early enough — so many ideas, so little time to realize them!

I am always amazed at how much you take on, but you get it done. I would be clawing my eyes out, lol. And what you make is lovely!

Thank you, but the truth is, since I've mostly lost my writing mojo, crafting is what keeps me semi-sane.
