A bit of rest

After yesterday's happy excitement we had a quiet day. I even postponed grocery shopping, although the fridge is fairly empty. When we run out of yogurt that's a sign of the upcoming Apocalypse. But we wanted to rest a bit, and that was what we did.

I've done a bit of crafting and lots of crossword puzzles. Mum had a visit from the physiotherapist lady and washed the dishes from yesterday. No cooking was necessary, thanks to leftovers; I only had to make a pot of Tütensuppe.

Digestion is better but still not optimal. I keep my fingers crossed.

When your mum gets an at home physiotherapist visit is it mainly exercises or massage? I’m asking for my mum who is nervous about her scheduled at home Physio visit (but refuses to ask questions). She’s so nervous she cancelled her first visit!!! (But still won’t ask questions!!!!)

It is just exercises to strengthen her leg muscles and to loosen her bad shoulder. When she needs a gentle backrub I'm the one giving it. I have long experience with her bones. ;)

Grocery shopping is overrated. I finally did succeed in persuading hubby that I need the fridge fairly empty, because I need to swipe it more often. No fun if you have a lot of products sitting on the kitchen counter in the warmth!

That is true. But once a week I need to go food shopping because we have to eat, after all. ;)
