A big step

... towards finishing the baby book for my friend Erica's second granddaughter (due somewhen is September) was the making of the book cover. I used scrapbook paper from the collection "Sweet Baby Girl" by Lexia Desing for that, and below are the results.

I did have my usual struggles with the double-sided tape (I swear those things have a will of their own!), but all in all I'm happy with the results. The back cover is quite plain; I'll take a picture when I'm finished with the book, perhaps I'll get some good idea for that by then.

They are, aren't they? I was so glad when I found this particular paper pad at Rayher that I spontaneously bought both the girl and the boy version. Who knows when they will be needed?

My manufactured tabs are a bit bolder in colour but I don't think they clash with the background too much.

Lovely! I know, double-sided tape can be a nightmare. Somehow I always get myself stuck to where I’m supposed to be sticking something.
