Behold the three colourful cats working in the mill: two sifting the flour and the third one cutting the stones:



I find them funny, even if a bit bizarre. *g*

Not much else got done. We decided to take a day of rest. I made lunch, but beyond crafting that was all I did. Tomorrow and the next four to six days will be bad enough.

In the early morning it rained rather heavily. Leaky balcony leaked. Then the rain went away and temperatures climbed into new heights again. I hope they will do that on Monday again, so that the carpets can dry quickly.

I love the books: Crows, foxes, ticks, wheat :0) We are experiencing record heat here, with daily heat warnings and so on. So, I feel for you on the high temps, it is really draining. Hope you get cooler weather soon.

Well, despite the fact that we're really suffering from the heat, I hope it will last till Monday. Shampooing the wall-to-wall carpets is best done when the weather is hot.

I was really lucky to find those few sheets of zebra-patterned felt before that little craft shop closed. I never saw such patterned felts anywhere again. :(
