Coronation postponed

In other words: I didn't get my crown fixed today. Something or other didn't fit as the dentist lady would want it, so I have to go back next week. Joy, joy, joy.

It was half past two when I got home, as I had to make the grocery shopping afterwards, too. It was stupid hot again, so we had some cold fruit soup (from the package) and some savoury scones for lunch. Then we watched some telly and I had a nap. Then my friend Evie called, and it took about an hour. And now the day is over, without having done anything useful. *sigh*

If it's any consolation, I did very little with my day too. I put one load of laundry through the washer and drier, made up a small bottle of weedkiller, and sprayed part of the front garden.

That is more than enough for one day. I wouldn't mind the odd useless day, honestly, if not for the frigging deadlines.
