Little experimental seraph

We had our bi-weekly cleaning frenzy today, so I didn't have enough strength left to fight multiple layers of hard felt and double-sided tape. Therefore I gave my own six-pointed-star-turned-into-an-angel design a try, since I never found the original one again. I thought I had saved the pic, but it turns out, I haven't.

So here is my version, made of memory and personal preferences:



Originally, the ornament is a very pale blue, not white, but the iPad mini had a bad day again. Usually, it turns white things blue, today it did the opposite. But you can still imagine what it looks like in reality, I hope. Clicking on the pic won't help - you'd only get a much smaller version, as I still haven't figured out how to make sensible-sized pictures on Pinterest since they revamped the whole site. *add curse words of your choice*

I call it a seraph, as seraphim are traditionally depicted with six wings, and the star has six points. It might be a heretic decision, but I don't really care. ;))

YouTube has also made some revamping with the comments. For me, it is much more complicated to find out who made the actual comment on the channels I regularly visit. I'm sure they had a reason to turn the previous usernames into the @ versions - it is still annoying.

I also moved onto the rubbish heap that is rapidly forming in front of our building a lot of stuff Mum and I have selected. Tomorrow we may add some more, or so I hope. This flat is so horribly crowded, every square inch cleaned out is a big victory.

And yeah, it's still hot over here. Cleaning by 30+ degrees was a delight - NOT!

The temps started dropping here yesterday, thank goodness, although we never reached the heady heights of thirty degrees. Having fed cats in the morning, I spent the rest of my day deep diving on YouTube.

That's a cute seraph! Did you see the original one on Pinterest? I think that a lot of my favourites have vanished recently, with me not saving them, of course!

It is such a bloody annoyance! I understand that they cater to the wishes of the young, but why can't they leave us the choice to stick to the old version?
