Black Forest slices

I baked them, yesss, Preciousss! They're not Pinterest-worthy, as elwenlj would say, but they are extremely yummy. Even though I didn't have enough whipped cream to put it on top, so I had to go for white chocolate, which isn't the same. But we'll eat them with relish.

Other than that, not much happened. Black Forest is a lot of work, so it ate the whole morning and part of the afternoon. We ate leftovers, and then I took Mum out for a walk, now that the weather is behaving for a change. My young (ex-)colleague, Alex, called, and we had a long, nice chat. It's good to know that I'm still not completely forgotten.

I did cut out 2x12 cards in two sizes for the baby-book-to-be, but that was all the crafting I managed today. I'm starting to get nervous about the deadline. Must find out when that baby is due to come.
