First things first: Happy Birthday, adafrog! I hope you had a great time, and many happy returnings! Here, have some virtual Dobos torte - and don't believe any of the baking shows that show different versions of it; this is the one and only!



Secondly: good news on the crafting front. I've actually found some bells for my Wichtel. They're slightly bigger in size than what I've envisioned - I wanted 6mm or 8mm ones, and these are 10mm, I think - but they'll still do. The colours, too, are a bit garish, but I doubt that the Wichtel would mind. The price was really good: I got a 30-piece package for HUF 400, while in the first shop where I looked a single piece cost HUF 100. I bought two packages on the spot, for further use.

And since I was there already, I also treated myself to some nice buttons and to some self-adhesive Häkelborte, since I can't crochet. If I could, I'd make them myself, but she who hasn't listened to her Grandma as a child must now pay. :/

We had choir practice, too, which is always fun, but I decided not to take part of our performance next Wednesday. It is some sort of choir festival, with at least a dozen children's choirs participating, and it usually lasts all afternoon. My legs might not deal with such a long stint well; they never have on previous occasions. At least I can argue that I don't dare to leave Mum alone for so long, and she's willing to play her part in it.
