The calm after the storm

We took it easy today. All I did housework-wise was making potato soup. We watched some crap telly, and I actually managed to put in about an hour of writing and finally finished Chapter 9 of A Stitch in Time, which is a relief. It's been two years since I've last updated that particular story, even though I did write bits and pieces during the last picowrimo session. (For those not in the know, it's the second part of a trilogy in which Ianto gets saved by the Ninth Doctor after CoE and is sent forward into the 22nd century to serve aboard Archer's Enterprise).

Now if I could bring up the energy to transcribe the stuff to the computer, I could even post it to AO3. And to LJ, of course.

An whole hour of writing is great going. I love potato soup. It's always an adventure if I eat it out, because everyone adds their own version of seasoning to this otherwise bland vegetable.

I like to vary my spices. This time I added salt, pepper, laurel, marjoram, parsley and sweet chili sauce and thickened it with some flour and sour cream. It tasted heavenly.
