Making up for yesterday

... that, as you know, was totally wasted. Today I started my craft project early, in the naive hope that I can finish that particular page for all three baby books. Well... I have (mostly) finished one of them. Not exactly stellar results, but there are so many little details that needed to be done that time simply flown away from me. At least I've made a lot of small embellishments in advance, so that hopefully will speed up the process in the immediate future. Hope dies last, right?

I also had kitchen duty today, but that was fairly easy. I baked fish filets in the oven and cooked a bag of frozen vegetables as a side dish. We had leftover soup, and I also baked cheesy buns (our favourite comfort food), so it was a fairly elaborate lunch in our terms.

Tomorrow I'm planning to finally make that chicken and tarragon pie I had originally planned for Wednesday and to do a fair amount of crafting. We'll see how much of it will actually happen.

Weather should be good for doing handicrafts. Maybe you could also do another batch of cheesy buns for comfort now that wintery weather is back again?

Frozen diced veg. is almost a staple food in my house. Cheap and easy, plus a great filler for low meat casseroles.
