... has been fairly stressful, so far. We had cleaning day, and since the cleaning lady was slightly late (she goes to Mum's best lady friend first, and when that lady has extra wishes, that means she arrives later to us), the process took the entire morning. Up to 1.30pm, in fact.

Afterwards, we had to put everything back to its place, which took another hour or so. Thank God I didn't have to cook today, at the very least! I decided to grate that big piece of ginger I had bought on Friday instead, to froze it for later cooking purposes and to make ginger syrup from the juice. Unfortunately, I forgot that I had a paper cut in my palm. Paper cuts and ginger syrup don't go well together. Thank the heavens for Bepanthen salve!

Then I did a tiny bit of crafting, because of headlines, but made very little progress, since my palm still hurt and I was morose anyway. It is a miracle that I haven't messed up the page I've been working on for two days. There are small mistakes, but I think I've covered them well enough; let's hope nothing will fall apart.

Going online, I realized that Outlook had chosen to put all the newest junk mail into my inbox, instead of the junk folder. I tweaked a bit the settings, in the hope that I can reset the junk folder to "exclusive" somehow (I could not), with the only result that I've practically shut myself out of my own account. With lots of mental acrobatics I managed to get a security code from them and got in again, but it was nerve-wrecking.

And I still get the junk put into my inbox. Suggestions are welcome. So far I've reported every single piece of them manually as junk, but I don't know what else could I do.

Cuts on fingers and palms never go well with ginger, onions and garlic, but I do not need to tell you a thing or two about it. You will know if you have one (even ithough you haven“t noticed it yet) when you work with those ingredients!

Oh yes, that they can. Especially in contact with ginger or other spicy stuff.

Ouch. Never a good way to find a paper cut.

I have started getting junk in my Outlook email folder too. I had it set to only accept approved senders, but it seems to be ignoring me. On the other hand, I am still getting junk mail in my junk mail folder! I have given up trying to work it out and just block each sender as the appear in my 'approved' folder. Hopefully, it will remain a small problem.

It seems to have righted itself, at least for the time being. *fingers crossed*
Where do you set it to only accept approved senders? I've been totally confused by Outlook since they revamped their layout.

Honestly, I did it over a decade ago, so have no idea how I did it. I do remember that at the time, it took a lot of effort to find the setting, which is why I cannot summon the energy required to check it again. :D
