In other words, [livejournal.com profile] noadvertising's lovely Christmas card has just arrived today. Who'd have thought that Austria and Hungary are so far from each other? Postal services are deeply odd.

Other than that, I made a food run and went to choir practice. On my way to the latter, I dropped by the little sewing shop that's about to close... somewhen... and spent an insensible amount of money on things that I might need in the foreseeable future. Knowing myself, I'm sure I'll think of more such thing, assuming they're still open next Tuesday. What can I say? I'm a hunter and gatherer before the Lord.

Choir practice was lovely. I also fetched the eggsies ordered last week and helped myself to some free apples that can be had at school sometimes. So yeah, it was a most aquisitive day (assuming that is a word).

Well, it's nice when Christmas lasts a bit longer, eh?

Postal services really are odd, to think that mine arrived sooner than one right to the neighbouring country.

I had a food run today, too, we were out of eggs and bread and I couldn't delay any longer. Noticed more January price hikes, so that was fun, but at least it's done now.

So it isn't just American postal service that sucks.

No, I'm afraid it's a global phenomenon.

Yay, three out of six made it! Yours must have travelled on foot! NZ-and US- cards were at their destination six day after I sent them, the same day as I brought yours to the post office. But you still have your tree, so it should count...

Exactly! Half of mine are still wandering around somewhere, too. *sigh*
