Advent, Day 24

Or alternately Christmas Eve, which is the actual big day over here, under the rock where I live. Not that it would have been such a big deal in our two-person little family, of course. But we tried to make it nice.

This is our Christmas tree:



The angels, the garlands and the 3D starts are self-made, the glass baubles and the wooden pictures obviously aren't. *g*

And this is the total of my cookies, all self-made:



19 sorts altogether, most of which have gone off to 7 different families. This is what's left, plus some rests in two tin boxes. I also managed to bake the log cake, for the first time in my life, and it turned out wonderfully! I might take a photo tomorrow, so proud am I.

Other than that, it was a quiet day. The big Christmas dinner (or rather Christmas lunch) will take place tomorrow. Today, we ate leftover Champignonfleisch and the cookies donated by a neighbour in exchange for the ones I gave her. We had a few nice phone calls from friends and family and had a good day altogether.
