... is what I've been doing today. I'm up to 25 now, and still no end in sight. Remember that wonderful vintage Stamperia Christmas paper pad I accidentally bought twice? Well, these 25 cards were all made of the spare pad, and I still have enough for at least ten more from that pad only. I've also dug out some other motifs I've been hoarding for years, so by careful estimate I'm going to end up with 40 cards - all being different. With those, the felt Christmas ornaments and the popsicle stuff from last year I'll have a fantastic spread to offer on the charity fair in December - unless Covid or some other unpleasant circumstances interfere. *fingers crossed*

Also, we've just got the e-mail that our choir's been asked to sing on some official, open-air Christmas fair on December 16, assuming that the weather cooperates. That would be great, wouldn't it?

Not much else happened today. Mum offered to cook Sauerkrautauflauf, which was absolutely fabulous, we had a visit from the physiotherapist lady and I had a nice, long phone chat with my friend Evie. All in all, a lovely day.

That's cool you could make so many cards!

The only way to success in this particular craft is to make many cards at once. I use a simplified collage technique, which requires lots of scrap paper left over from previous projects, so my desk is always covered in huge piles of scraps when doing it. It simply doesn't make sense to cause such a mess for only one or two cards. Especially considering the fact that I had to clean up afterwards. *g*

When will your charity fair take place? It's unlikely that another covid wave will flare up so soon! But you never know...

On December 8, at least in theory. I so hope it will take place this year! We couldn't hold it for the last two years, and Christmas just wasn't the same without it; and without our Christmas concert.

That's cool you've been asked to sing at a fair.

You make me want to go make Christmas cards now. I have not done that for years, but I know I have lots of papers and toppers, lurking on my craft desk.

Well, if you have the necessary parts, go for it! But don't forget to take photos when they are done.
