I made a food run in the morning, which means the only hours in which one can do anything vaguely useful were sacrificed for that. It is still very hot over here, although weather forecast promises some rain for tomorrow. Let's hope it goes where it is really needed, like the fields and the gardens, instead of leaking into our balcony. *fingers crossed*

I made a cold fruit sup - Tütensuppe stirred into cold milk, without actual cooking - and we had some leftover noodles from yesterday. We ate it with grated cheese, and that was the amount of cooking I did today. I'll cook something sensible in the early hours tomorrow.

I worked a tiny bit on the Three Kings felts, but not too much. My fingers are hurting; stitching through several layers of hard felt and double-sided tape are hard on the fingertips. But Christmas is in a comfortable distance, and I've already finished 30 of the 40 different felt ornaments, so I'm good. Unless I can't resist making some penguins, too, which is a distinct possibility. *g*

My friend Evie called an hour ago. She's moving houses tomorrow and is accordingly exhausted from all that packing. I hope the rain will wait until they have all the furniture on the lorry.

Fingers crossed for your friend and for you also! Neither she nor you need a downpour tomorrow!

Thanks. Actually, I wouldn't mind some rain, as long as it didn't fall in the specific angle that hits the leaking spot.

I hope you do get some rain. And dinner sounds quite sensible with carbs, protein and all.

Moving in heat or rain will be tough, so I hope everything goes well for Evie.

I've talked to her in the meantime; she was partially lucky, as the rain only started when she had already moved the furniture into the new house. She was caught by the downpour while moving in some boxes, but fortunately, dry towels and a hair dryer were already in the new place.
