Hard to believe, but I've actually finished the twin quiet books today! That was faster than expected! *is relieved*

At the same time I also realized that I forgot to take pictures of the castle puzzle pages - which I now did as an afterthought. Of course, since the books are already bound, the pages look a bit lopsided on the photos, but better crooked than not at all, right?

Behold the pretties! Beni's page is on the left and Ábel's on the right:

The castles themselves as well as the sky ought to be the same colour on both pictures, but it seems the light fell differently. Oh, and the pages are exactly the same size, too, I'm just a rubbish photographer. *sigh*

Anyway, I'm done now and can start planning the book for Elise's third granddaughter who'll also turn 2 soon, a week or two after the two boys.

Not much else happened today. I've made Shepherd's Pie for lunch and am now nursing my aching fingers. *g*

Pretty, as always! Now I am very interested in the differences between a boy´s and a girl´s book- it´s because a lot of girls prefer diggers and castles to dolls and horses today!

Well, I'm planning a hot air balloon page with mobile parts, then a castle puzzle page like these, only with different colours and perhaps sparkly pom-poms instead of little flags, a match-the-colour page with differently coloured teacups and a counting page with domino stones. The other 4 I still have to think about. I'll definitely need something with lacing activity and something where either buttons or a zipper needs to be used, for the fine motor skills. We'll see.

Do the pieces come out on the castle puzzle?

Yes, both the blue and yellow squares can be removed and rearranged — that is why I had to sew on so much Velcro!

Those pages are so pretty. Little treasures for little treasures.

Those are just lovely. I can't imagine any small child not loving them.

When they were here last time, Beni gave the page the trial run and seemed very satisfied with it. *g*
