Still flattened

I forgot to set my alarm last night, so I overslept - almost an hour. Despite this, I still felt deadly tired and not like doing anything of importance. I've managed to pin on the seams of the deep sea pages but then laid them aside, being totally uninspired. That seaming is the most boring and tedious part of the whole project didn't help with the inspiration, of course.

About the same time it started raining and I seriously considered not going to choir practice, after all. I hate going out in the rain. Fortunately, it stopped after about 20 minutes, and by the time the physiotherapist came to Mum everything was dry again. So I did go to choir practice and was really happy afterwards, as Adrienne came, too, and she brought little Abel with her. Abel enjoyed the practice greatly, especially as he was allowed to sit on the pianist lady's lap and "help". We learned how to ignore the keys being hit randomly, which, I'm sure, was good for our musical development. An 18-month-old pianist can produce interesting (dis)harmonics; we laughed ourselves silly.

Our concert is still planned for June 12. I hope we'll be able to keep it.

Little kids have always come to our practice, as their mothers often couldn't leave them at home. Since the choir consists of teachers and parents of the school, we were hardly ever without toddlers or pre-school children. :)

Little helpers are adorable! I know how much toddlers love to work a piano; we have one at home, though I fervently hope that number three will bring it to his house one day!
