According to my Pinterest board, this is #21 - of the documented ones at least.
I made Spargelquiche today; that is, a quiche with asparagus and ham filling. It turned out well, pretty and extremely yummy.

Lookie, lookie:

I made it after a food run (because I forgot the grated cheese on Friday) and the bi-weekly cleaning frenzy. I also made a mixed salad, which always requires lots of chopping, or else Mum couldn't eat it. Stupid vegetables expect you to have teeth. Teeth that sit firmly in their gums. We like to joke about Mum's remaining teeth (all 3 or 4 of them) fluttering in the wind...

In any case, it was an eventful day and I'm really tired. Too tired to do anything meaningful for the rest of it. Tomorrow will be another day, after all. Assuming we live to see it, but let's have positive thoughts here, shouldn't we?

In other news, the DW importer failed me again, so I'll have to copy-and-past my LJ entries anew. Grrrr!

That quiche looks tasty. I showed the pic to Mom tho and she wrinkled her nose. The ONLY veggie she wants in her quiche is spinach. Maybe next time I'll do a potato quiche if I can find a recipe.

If you do, would you mind sharing it? Mum likes all kinds of quiche, and she loves potatoes in every possible form.

Asparagus quiche is best! DW importer has not worked for me for two or three years now, and copy and paste does not copy my photos :((

It worked for me for several weeks in a row — and then stopped doing so yesterday.

We ate it for two days in a row and were sad that there was nothing left for another day. *g*

That does indeed look yummy, although I'm not a fan of what my mother used to call, "sparrow grass" (asparagus).
