And tomorrow my Kaspersky licence runs off. *sigh*

At least I had a lovely, long phone chat with my young friend Alex, and now I'm up to date with all the school gossip. Knowing things is good.

I've worked a bit on the outline recognition page. The geometric shapes are now all sewn together, and I started stitching the outlines on the page bases. Not as much as I planned to, due to the above mentioned gossip sharing, but small progress is also progress.

It was a somewhat hectic day altogether. I've managed to forget that the shops would be closed on May 1st and failed to do the shopping yesterday. Therefore we've run out of bread and milk, almost completely, and I had to bake four little plaited breads - fortunately, I've got a quick and easy recipe for them. It is a yeast dough, enriched with butter, milk and eggs. I even made it with my school kids in the past.

Well; that's for today, I guess. In the next few days I might be short-ish, as posting on the iPad mini isn't an easy thing, plus tomorrow we'll have the big cleaning frenzy again.

It's a good thing you had the stuff to make bread. I can't even remember the last time I had yeast in my home.

I always keep instant yeast in the house. Works like a charm with this rich dough.

The bread sounds lovely!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and the computer, I know how hard it is when they are for any reason out of commission...

Thanks. I still have the licence for today, and I've spoken to a technically savvy ex-colleague who promised to help me with my gmail (or at least try), so I'm tentatively hoping...

No bread at home? I think I wouldn´t notice even. Same applies to milk. Well, hubby might be slightly alarmed, but I´d do some omelette for him (doing it with mineral water always). I have given up on the necessity of having every item at home 24/7! And hubby knows my baking too well. He might be delighted at getting omelette instead!

I just wish I had a proper Backofen, in which I could make actual bread from time to time. Alas, my little oven can't get hot enough for that. The few times I tried to make bread I ended up with a brick that was burned in the outside and still raw in the inside.
