wiseheartNo news on the computer front so far. I hope my neighbour, the IT guy will resurface tomorrow, or I'm screwed. Depending on the aged and often capricious iPad mini entirely won't be fun. *sigh*
I've made good progress with the twin quiet books, though. I've started on the outline recognition page and finished 10 out of 18 applications. The remaining 8 have their Velcro pieces sewn on, too, and I've drawn up the page bases and selected the necessary materials. There's still a great deal of work to do, but so far I'm content with my progress.
Other than that, it was a quiet day. We did double laundry, as it's one of the house rules (originally laid down by Grandma) that the beds ought to be changed every 6 weeks. In exchange, we ate leftover soup and toasted sandwiches and were happy enough with them.
After a late lunch we went for a walk with Mum - the first proper one for weeks. It was good to get hour out of the house for a short while again, even though I've been scared every time since she'd fainted on me in early February.
I tried to give some friends a phone call but they didn't pick it up. Why on Earth do people have mobile phones again? Ah, well, apparently everyone else is too busy.
