I'm so frigging exhausted it's not even funny anymore. I was so waiting for autumn break - unfortunately, family already made plans for my weekend, so both Saturday and Sunday will be ruined. I wish there were some herb against family programmes. *curses*

Anyway, I still hope that I'll get some creative work done during next week. I'd even sacrifice the trip to Vienna in exchange for some quiet procrastination. I still haven't written the new Strange Encounter, although the pieces are there. Haven't written the long-overdue last chapter for Kansas. Haven't even started to translate the next chapter to Crossroads. There is so much to do and so little time for it. And I'd really, honestly like to catch up with all that lost sleep.

On the bright side, the idea for the Andromeda/Star Trek TNG crossover is developing nicely. I just wish things werent always so research-heavey. Although I don't know why I make the effort to do all that background work. Someone will always find something they think is a mistake and pester me for it.

God, I'm tired. Edhellond was two years old on October 23 and I wasn't even able to write a proper entry, not to mention a celebratory fic. Memory Alpha will be one year old on November 3, and I'm afraid the celebration will be very much the same. I'm just a lowly human being, damnit.

Sleep first, write later. Your break is supposed to be just that - a break. don't wear yourself out trying to do too much during that all-too-short week!

On a completely different subject: may I nominate your story Felagund and the Noegyth Nibin for a "Best Shafted Race" Galvorn? I can't think of a worthier contender for the title than the petty Dwarves!

I know I need to sleep. And I will, at least a little. It's just that I've got so little time for everything it's really frustrating.

As for the Galvorn nomination, be my guest! I'm honoured that you find the story worthy.

No one can go 100% all the time. Your research shows in your writing, whether you use 85% or 5% of the material you actually researched.

Rest helps, your body needs to relax to keep that energy going.

Btw, I am still working on my Lindir story. I needed to research what happens on Narbeleth. So I did an internet search and smiled at what I found:

Its a small world. Loved both, by the way!

Thank you. It's been half an eternity since I wrote anything Mirkwood-related. I wish the muse would be more cooperative, but she's overworked, too, the poor thing. *sighs*

Don't spread yourself too thin!

Please, take care of yourself! I know the feeling of wishing for more hours in a day. One is easily seduced to sacrificing sleep for other pursuits, but it's just not healthy...

Yeah, I know. I just wish my frigging relatives would stop to organize completely useless but time-consuming programmes for me.

Slow down a bit, Soledad. We can't have our favourite Hungarian being ill from exhaustion!

I give you many *squishy hugs!* Don't overdo it, now! Try not to stress too much about things...it only makes you fall further behind. Heh. I should know. :)
