So, I posted Chapter 8: The War Council of my Battlestar Galactica/Original Trek crossover.

FF.Net tells me the chapter doesn't exist, but I hope it'll appear, soon. If not, I'll post it to the Memory Alpha group. *shrugs*
Other than that, while my Tolkien muse is stil more or less comatose, I've been bitten by a particularly persistent plotcritter (oh, lookie, alliteration - now I'm sure I'm doomed!) concerning an Andromeda/Star Trek TNG crossover. I swore not to start it until I've finished Kansas and posted at least one more chapter to Crossroads - the latter of which I've just done. Speak about motivation, heh!
It's a technology-heavy story, but fortunately, 80% of the Memory Alpha crew are men, and the guys know their technology. They don't even mind a technically challenged old lady picking their brains, asking utterly stupid questions. I've already learned more about comparative starship drive and firepower and weapon systems than it's good for my health, but it's necessary, otherwise the techno-fanatics would tear the poor story apart.
No, I haven't written more than five paragraphs so far. I might not even start in the foreseeable future. But I'm looking forward to write Worf and Tyr Anasazi butting heads, Dylan wangsting to Deanna Troi, and Data having a romance with Rommie. *g*
