Early Easter picspam

I was busy baking today. First, I made the time-consuming Guglhupf, with golden raisins, candied cherries and soft, sweetened cranberries. It looked exactly like this, just with additional flaked almonds on top:

It no longer looks like it because half of it has been distributed among my neighbours. Yeast dough bakes are only yummy for two days, tops, and we'd never be able to consume such a monster wreath in two days. This way, nothing goes to waste, and the neighbours are happy.
I also made Spiegeleikuchen - basically a traybake, with a sponge base, and a topping made of cremequark and vanilla custard, which I enriched with a generous shot of eggnog. There will be a picture tomorrow, when it has chilled enough to be cut properly.
That basically ate my day - aside from the usual Saturday laundry - so I'm determined not to do any more work today. ;))
