Busy, busy, busy day!

But in a good way. In the morning I worked a bit on The Thing of Beauty - grandted, only one page, but I had to demolish it and redo almost from the scratch because I was very unhappy with the outcome. It has a completely different design now, and looks magnitudes better. *Phew!*

Then my friend Evie dropped by to fetch her share of Easter cookies. It was a short visit, but a lovely one. Barely was she gone, the physiotherapist arrived, and I left for school to fetch the eggsies. Mum later informed me that she and her physiotherapist had a very nice conversation, sharing cooking recipes and so on. (The woman is at least 20 years younger than me... just saying. Mum is irresistible when in a charming mode.)

At school, I delivered the princess handbags for Elise's three granddaughters, as well as Elise's share of the cookies. She's at her mother's right now, who needs constant care-giving, but her hubby works at school, too, so he will fetch the stuff tomorrow.

Plus, I added one of badly_knitted's supercute meeces to each bag, I just know the girls (2, 4 and 7 years old, respectively) will love them.

I fetched my eggsies, went to two different supermarkets to get more food, since everything will be closed on Good Friday and the two days of Easter, which means that before, after and in-between the food shops will remind battle grounds. Better get everything safely in advantage.

When I got home, I presented my booty to Mum and then went to bake cheesy buns, because tomorrow will be toddler day again! YAY!!!

At last the meeces are headed for their homes! I hope the girls will like them =)

Oh, I am sure they will! The oldest is quite lady-like already, and I fastened a safety pin to her meece, so that she will be able to wear it as a brooch — she'll be the envy of the whole kindergarten!

Oh, yay! Because they make such great brooches. I'm going to add safety pins to my little black and white meece so I can wear them. I'm almost tempted to try making a smaller pair and turning them into earrings *grins*

Well, AFAIK Halloween is also a time for witches, and witches are known to make soup out of toads or frogs, so if you can knit frogs, that ought to work, too!

Same here — I wouldn't set foot in any shop on Saturday!!!

We usually do our major weekly shop at 7 am on Sunday, so this week it'll be 7 am Saturday and hopefully nt too many people will have gotten up early to crowd in there...

Isn't it? badly_knitted gifted five of those little darlings upon me — Mum and I both chose our favourite, and the remaining three now are gone to the three little ladies. I just hope they will know to value them. ;))
