wiseheartI had an appointment at the hairdresser's today and finally got a long-overdue haircut. Now I look like a human being instead of an used-up toilet brush.
The hairdresser's is in a neighbourhood with a Müller drugstore and two big craft shops. Guess who's spent a lot of money on the way to the appointment? Yep, that was yours truly. I found 8 different sets of hard felt appliques on sale - for HUF250 each, instead of HUF480! I got so excited over that bargain that I treated myself to a motif punch (or rather a corner punch, which will solve the problem of me not being able to cut the corners the same way), some round Velcro patches (hopefully easier to sew on) and two sheets of bio felt - thick and soft, ones, for the puzzles in the quiet books.
So, it was a very successful trip, and since I've cooked yesterday for at least three days, I could collapse in front of the telly with a good conscience. Especially as I had already used the disastrous sponge cake for a trifle in the morning, before I'd leave the house.
